California Community Credit Union
Roseville, CA
The California Community Credit Union building appears to be from the 1960s. It previously housed the Western Valley Federal Credit Union. Before that, it housed the SP (Southern Pacific) Employees Credit Union. I don't know if that was the original tenant. [map]

former Senator Savings & Loan
Sacramento, CA
This former Senator Savings & Loan branch was built around 1964. It was designed by Silvio L. Barovetto and Albert B. Thomas. The shape was meant to resemble a stack of coins. There was originally a fountain in front of the building. It later housed a Washington Mutual Bank and a Chase Bank after that. The building was vacant in 2021. For more, see these websites: 1 and 2. [map]

Sacramento, CA
This California Bank & Trust branch was designed by George Muraki and built in 1955. It was originally a Sumitomo Bank. The building has been vacant since around 2018. [map]

This BBVA Compass bank building previously housed a Guaranty Bank. The design looks very similar to the First Niagara Bank in Schenectady, NY. For more, see this website. [map]

Salinas, CA
This Bank of America branch was built in 1958. [map]

Chase Bank

This Chase Bank branch was built in 1962 as the original Salinas Valley Savings & Loan branch. The mosaic tile above the entrance still features the "SVSL" letters. The building was designed by Rojko, Sarmiento & Ecoff. For more, see this website. [map]

Bank of America
Salinas, CA
This building has housed a Bank of America since at least 1973. It might have been built in the 1960s. [map]
