St. Michael's Church Biloxi, MS |
|
St. Michael's Church, aka the "Fisherman's Church", was built in the 1960s. It was designed by James Canizaro. The church's round shape may have contributed to its survival during Hurricanes Camille and Katrina. After Katrina in 2005, the church's interior was basically gutted and much of the stained glass needed replacing. The church was reconsecrated in 2011. These photos are from 2019.
