This Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stake center and recreational facility was built in 1963. In 1971, the building began housing the Reed Whipple Cultural Center. These photos are from 2014. In 2015, there were plans to use the building for the Cultural Corridor Theater Center. However, those plans fell through. The mosaics on the front of the building, under the signs, were uncovered. In 2019, it was announced that the building would serve as an extension for the Neon Museum which is located across the street. However, those plans changed as well. In 2022, the building was demolished. |
