The Morning Star Baptist Church appears to be from the 1960s. The "Fellowship Hall" across the street, shown in the bottom row of photos above, looks very similar. It was probably built later in the style of the church. [map]

Memorial Drive Church of Christ [gone]

The Memorial Drive Church of Christ was built in 1963. Additions in 1973 and 1977 surrounded the original parabolic roof. There were two fires in 2019 and the building was demolished in 2020.
