This building was in use as a Sabine State Bank & Trust Co. branch when I first saw it in 2007. It was built as a Rapides Savings and Loan in 1970. The building was designed by Barron, Heinberg, and Brocato. By 2010, Bug Blasters Pest Control had moved into the building. By 2016, the windows at the top of the building had been covered with siding. In 2023, the building was renovated and the windows were uncovered. The building now houses Walker Automotive, a used car dealership. [map] |
