This City Market & Deli opened in 2016. The building previously housed Christus St. Patrick Hospital Total Therapy. I believe it originally housed the dental office of a Dr. Herbert. The building appears to have been built in the 1960s. The building now houses The James 710 restaurant. [map] |

The Monroe Civic Center was built in 1965 and opened in 1967. It was designed by Clyde Webb of Johns & Neel. The barrel-roofed Civic Center Arena is used for concerts, circuses, rodeos, and other events. Other buildings include a conference hall, a theatre, and a convention center.
