Maiden Drugs
Williamsburg, KY Rexall Drugs
Henderson, KY
Maiden Drugs features a nice Rexall sign and matching canopy. [map]

This stained glass Rexall Drugs sign was discovered when the building was being remodeled. I believe it may be from 1917 when the W.S. Johnson & Son Rexall Store opened here. [map]

More Kentucky:
Covington [gone]

New Drugs
Opelousas, LA Hollier Drugs
Abbeville, LA
The New Drugs store has been vacant since at least 2008. [map]

The Hollier Drugs store was also vacant in 2010. It was still vacant in 2015. Apparently, the business was originally known as the Godard Drug Co. [map]

Central Drugs
Hammond, LA
Central Drugs opened in 1896 and closed in 2017. There is now a furniture and home decor store there now but the signs remains. [map]

More Louisiana:
Monroe [gone]

Connolly's Pharmacy
South Hamilton, MA
This Rexall sign hangs in front of Connolly's Pharmacy which opened in 1946. This sign might be from then. [map]

Manley's Pharmacy [gone]
Reese, MI Hemmingsen Rexall Drug
Marshall, MI Weisel's Drugs [gone]
Monroe, MI
Manley's Pharmacy had an unusual square Rexall sign. By 2019, this sign was gone. [first photo thanks Mark Comstock]

Hemmingsen Rexall Drug was established here in 1855. They still have a soda fountain inside and a functioning neon sign. For more, see this website. [map]

Weisel's Drugs housed Re-Find Furnishings Resale Shop, a thrift store, when this photo was taken in 2006. The store and sign were gone by 2014. This sign had one of the rare secondary "Prescriptions" panels. For more, see this website.

Pitkin Rexall Drugs
Whitehall, MI Central Drug
Charlevoix, MI
Pitkin Rexall Drugs, aka the Pitkin Drug and Gift Shoppe, was founded in 1882. This full facade signage is from much later, probably 1940s or 1950s. [map]

Central Drug store opened in 1897 and is still in operation. [map]

More Michigan:
Newberry [map]

St. Croix Rexall [gone]
Stillwater, MN
The St. Croix Rexall had been here since 1881 and closed in 2007. The St. Croix Emporium, which was there when these photos were taken in 2008, had left the signs in place. The store and signs were gone later that year. The sign on the left is now at Cook's Garage in Lubbock, TX.

Eagle Drug [gone]
Crookston, MN
The Eagle Drug store was vacant when these photos were taken in 2011. In 2012, the neon sign was removed. The rest of the signs were gone in 2018.

Skelton Drugs [gone]
North Branch, MN Rensberger Drugs [gone]
Dawson, MN
This Skelton Drugs sign was still there when this photo was taken in 2008. By 2011, it was gone and the store had become Skelly's Hallmark. For more, see this website.

Rensberger Drugs last operated as Nelson Rexall Drug. I suspect there was another name prior to Rensberger and the plastic sign replaced an orange and navy porcelain sign. The plastic sign was gone by 2023. The sign under the canopy is still there. [map]
