Joe's Drive-in Liquor & Bar sign was built in 1961. The top panel of the sign revolves. It reads "Bar" on one side and "Drive-in" on the other. The sign was refurbished in 2010. This photo is from 2022. In 2023, the sign restored by YESCO of Salt Lake City, UT. For more, see this website. [map] The New Studio Photography sign is shaped like a roll of film. The store opened here in 1919 and is still in business. [map] |

The Poll Motor sign was built in 1962. The dealership and sign have moved a couple of times. It closed in 2024 and the sign is now in a private collection.
The Trails End Motel opened in 1968. This sign must be from then. The chasing bulbs and neon still work. [map] |

The Mint Bar was established in 1907. This sign was built around 1947 when the bar was remodeled. It was produced by the Sheridan Sign Company and painted by Bernard P. Thomas. The horse and rider panels are about 12 feet tall. They were repainted around 2006. The neon cattle brands around the canopy were probably animated originally. For more, see this website. [map] |

The Dime Horseshoe Bar opened in the mid-1950s and this sign might be from then. [map] The Coachman Inn Motel sign is probably from the 1950s or 1960s. [map] The Blue Lantern Motel had opened around 1940 and was originally known as the Blue Lantern Court. The sign was the same then except that the vertical letters were different and had neon. The Torrington Rock Shop openeded in 1963 and this motorized spinning sign might be from then. It is similar to these in Budd Lake, NJ and Portage, IN. The sign was repainted after 2018 and is still operating. For more, see this video. [map] |

The Landmark Bar sign has tacked on, painted wooden panels on top covering up the original neon panels. I don't know what's underneath. The sign is probably from the 1950s. The bulb arrow was probably added in the 1960s. [map] |
