| The Lincoln Theatre was built in 1922. It was twinned in 1985 and later turned into a four-screen. By 2016, it had eight screens. It closed in 2020. The theatre lives on in the buildings to the left (see immediately below). [map] |

The DuPage Theatre was designed by Rapp & Rapp in an atmospheric style. It opened in 1928 and was triplexed in the late 1980s. It closed in 2001 and was demolished in 2007. For more, see this website.
The Illinois Theatre opened in 1912 as the Chandler Theatre. It was renamed the Illinois Theatre in 1918. This exterior is from a 1935 remodeling. The theatre was twinned in the late 1970s. | The Time Theater opened in 1910 as the K Theater. In 1938, it was destroyed by fire and rebuilt and renamed. The theater features a glazed terracotta exterior and neon marquee complete with clock. The theatre closed in the 1980s. In 2002, it became a concert venue and banquet hall. In 2006, the building was purchased by a church for live performances and other activities.
