The Saratoga restaurant/bar opened in 1916. The building was constructed in 1908 as the Saratoga Hotel. I don't know if this sign advertised for a restaurant or a drug store. I'm told that the sign previously read "DRUGS" for decades, maybe since the beginning. There are two tacked on panels at the top of the sign that might cover up related text. In the early 2000s, the space was housing a corner market. The sign has ripple tin panels. It was most likely built in the late 1920s or 1930s. The sign's neon was missing for many years. 2008:

2014:
Coca-Cola maintained a billboard sign on top of this building since 1937. In the 1950s, the sign had a banner panel at the top which read "Have a Coke." Below that, there was alternating text reading "Pause, Refresh" and "Drink Coca-Cola." Since at least 2005, the sign displayed "Enjoy Diet Coke" on one side and "Enjoy Coca-Cola" on the other. Since 2010, when the neon was replaced with LED lighting, both sides of the sign read "Enjoy Coca-Cola." In 2020, Coca-Cola removed the sign. The sign was 70 feet long and 30 feet tall. For more, see these websites: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
