The Richmond Shipyard Number Three Warehouse was built in 1941 with reinforced concrete. The porthole windows have been filled in and the "General Warehouse" letters above the entrance are gone now. For more, see this website. [map]

This Post Office was built in 1938. In 2017, the building was nearly put up for sale. However, after public pressure, this post office remains open. [map]

Swan's Marketplace
Oakland, CA
Swan's Marketplace was built in sections beginning in 1917. It served as a department store and food market until the 1980s. The building reopened in 1999 with new restaurants and food stores. I believe this entrance is from the late 1930s. For more, see this website. [map]
