First Federal Savings & Loan Kewanee, IL |

This First Federal Savings & Loan was built in 1963 as the Kewanee Federal Savings & Loan. The name was changed in the early 1970s. These photos are from 2009. By 2013, the colorful exterior panels had been replaced with grey wire mesh panels. In 2018, the building was being painted and the panels were removed. The building has been painted black and now houses Regional Media. [map] |

This former Bank of Illinois and Trust Company was built in 1965. The building now houses NRE, the National Railway Equipment Co. [map] |

former Gilldorn Savings Bank Pawnee, IL 2009: |

This former Gilldorn Savings Bank was built in 1984. The building was in use by the Pawnee United Methodist Church in 2009. The bottom photo shows the tunnel where the drive-thru or ATM was. In 2016, the building was donated to the Village of Pawnee. After that, the building was cleaned up, some siding applied, and the dirt mounds removed. The building now houses the Pawnee Police Department. [map] |
