| The former station was built in 1933 as the Vernloyd Service Station and Garage. It has been restored and is now decorated with Flying A signs and pumps. I don't know what brand was sold here originally. The building is now used as the office for Christopher Martin Motorsports. The bay building next door (bottom row right above) was obviously built much later. It is painted in the same color scheme and houses AJ's Bike Service now. [map] |

| This former station was built in 1926 as the Sunset Service Station. By the 1940s, it was operating as a Union 76 and Mohawk station and a Pontiac dealership. There were originally glass globes on top of the posts. The building had been vacant and surrounded by chain link fencing for decades. It was believed to be owned by the City. This former station in West Sacramento was built in 1934. It is known as Bertagna's Standard Station. The building has been vacant since at least 2006. [map] |

| This former station was built in 1936. In 1989, the building was donated to the Kern County Museum where it is now located. It was restored in 1993. I don't know if this station ever sold Union 76 gas or if that was just the brand chosen for the restoration. |

This replica station in Los Angeles was located at the Petersen Automotive Museum. It was based on a 1929 Richfield station. I don't know if it survived the remodel in 2016.
This former station in San Francisco was supposedly built in 1931 as a Gulf station. It was still functioning as a 76 station as late as the 1970s and possibly into the 1980s. Around 2001, this structure was moved to its current location in town to save it from demolition. There was another building, a service bay I assume, that was not saved. This station now shelters a trailer for "What's Up Dog", a hot dog stand. In 2015, the structure was moved to storage while the developers of the site and the Planning Department try to find a new location for it. For more, see this website. |
